Copolymerization of Acrylates

The organosiloxane lotion was prepared by polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (04) and organosiloxane burning coupling agent containing vinyl group. The lotion was copolymerized with acrylate monomer to obtain a multifunctional printing and dyeing auxiliary integrating softening agent and Adhesive.

In the free radical polymerization process of methacrylic acid resin, polydimethylsiloxane prepolymers containing terminal tibia groups are introduced to replace siloxane monomers to produce acrylic organosilicon resin. This overcomes the shortcomings of incomplete reaction caused by the modification of organosilicon monomers and the decrease in water resistance and weather resistance caused by residual low molecular weight substances in the modified resin. Infrared spectroscopy studies have found that the organic silicon segments in the modified resin are more enriched on the surface during curing, while acrylic resin tends to be within the coating, making the modified resin have good hydrophobicity, heat resistance, and flexibility; Maintained the mechanical properties and curing speed of methacrylic resin.

The microemulsion copolymerization system of Methyl methacrylate, methacryloxypropyl Trimethoxysilane and tetraethoxysilane was studied. The formation conditions of the microemulsion and the glass transition temperature of the copolymer were discussed. Li Xiaojie et al. synthesized silicone modified acrylate copolymerization lotion by using semi continuous lotion polymerization process, using unsaturated double bond silicone monomer and acrylate monomer, and studied the influence of monomer ratio, composite emulsifier ratio and silicone monomer content on the performance of lotion.

A silicone acrylic graft copolymer resin was prepared by grafting acrylic ester branched chains onto the molecular chains of organic silicon. The preparation of organic silicon matrix, the ratio of grafting mixed monomers, the ratio of acrylic ester branched chains to organic silicon polymer matrix, the feeding method of grafting monomers, grafting rate, and the impact on resin performance were studied. The results showed that the dimethylsiloxane vinyl siloxane copolymer was grafted with the mixed monomer of Butyl acrylate, acrylic acid and Methyl methacrylate, and the crosslinkable silicone resin with good performance could be obtained. This resin not only maintains the excellent performance of organosilicon polymers, but also has high mechanical strength and bonding force.
